FLORENS RESORT & SUITES

LAKE BRIENZ – INTERLAKEN

Famous for its turquoise waters and pristine natural shores, Lake Brienz lies nestled between the Emmental and Bernese Alps in the Swiss canton of Bern. The hiking trail from Iseltwald to Giessbach is considered one of Switzerland’s most scenic lakeside paths, and with good reason. In the summer, the area is ideal for long bike rides, idyllic walks or water sports on the crystal-clear lake, which is one of the purest in Switzerland.
At the bottom end of Lake Brienz lies the town of Interlaken. From there, trains depart to the Jungfrau Region towards Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen, taking you right to the Bernese High Alps UNESCO World Heritage Site, which soar to above 4,000 metres. Whether in summer or winter, you will encounter stunning natural beauty, making an outing – whatever time of year – a unique experience.
